Patchwork
Every cell, one shape, one clue.
Patchwork
Split the grid into rectangles so every shape holds exactly one clue — a calm spatial logic puzzle with 60 levels from 4×4 to 10×10.
About the Game
Patchwork is a spatial logic puzzle from ZOQSY Brain Games. Divide the whole grid into rectangles: every cell belongs to exactly one shape, shapes never overlap and every shape contains exactly one clue. A number tells you the shape's area; a small outline tells you whether it is a square, a wide rectangle or a tall rectangle; some clues give both and some give only the shape. Drag from one corner to the other to draw a shape — or tap one corner, then the opposite one — and tap a shape to remove it. Shapes that break a rule turn red and the game tells you why. The campaign has 60 levels in six stages, growing from small 4×4 grids to 10×10 expert boards where shape-only clues need careful reasoning. Every level was checked by a solver to have exactly one solution. Undo, redo, restart and hints that remove a wrong shape or place a forced one. Progress, stars and best times are saved in your browser.
How to Play
Cover the entire grid with rectangles. Each rectangle must contain exactly one clue. A number is the rectangle's area in cells; a square, wide or tall outline is its shape. Drag from one corner to the opposite corner to draw a rectangle (on touch screens you can also tap the two corners). Tap a rectangle to remove it. Rectangles that break a rule turn red with an explanation. The level is solved when every cell is covered and every rectangle matches its clue.

Gameplay Tips
- Start with big numbers in tight corners — they often fit only one way.
- A clue next to the edge limits how far its shape can grow.
- Shape-only clues: count the free cells around them to find the size.
- If a cell can only be reached by one clue, it belongs to that clue's shape.
FAQ
What do the clues mean?
A number is the area of the rectangle that contains it. A small outline means the rectangle is a square, a wide rectangle (longer across) or a tall rectangle (longer down). A clue can show either or both.
Does every Patchwork level have one solution?
Yes. Every level was checked by a solver before release: each has exactly one way to divide the grid.
How do stars work?
Solving earns one star. Solving without hints and with at most three mistakes earns another, and finishing within the target time earns the third. Stars never lock levels: solving a level opens the next one.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, in your browser on this device: solved levels, stars, best times and an unfinished board you can resume.
