Privacy Policy
This is a placeholder privacy policy for the current development build of ZOQSY. It does not reflect a final, legally-reviewed policy, but it is an accurate description of what the site actually does today.
What this site does not have, right now: user accounts, a database, a real analytics provider, or a real advertising provider. Nothing you do on this site is sent to a server or to any third party — everything described below stays in your browser.
What is stored locally, and why: the site uses your browser's localStorage — not cookies, not a server-side account — to remember, on this device only: favorited games, your recently-played/"Continue Playing" list, and local high scores and play counts for the games you've played. None of this identifies you personally, none of it is transmitted anywhere, and clearing your browser's site data for this domain erases all of it.
Consent and preferences architecture: the site has an internal preferences model (essential / analytics / advertising / personalized advertising) ready for a real consent-management tool, but no consent banner is shown today because there is nothing yet that requires consent — no analytics or advertising technology is active. If that changes, this page and the Cookie Policy will be rewritten first, and a real consent mechanism will be added before any such feature goes live, not after.
Analytics foundation (inactive): the codebase includes a provider-agnostic analytics interface that, if a provider is ever connected, would record product-usage events (like which games are viewed or played) identified by game, not by person — no name, email, or account is collected because none exists. As of this build, that interface has no provider connected and sends data nowhere.
This policy will be rewritten to accurately describe any new data collection, storage, or third-party service before that feature is turned on for real users — not as an afterthought.
