About the Game
Crossy Road is ZOQSY's build of the grid-hopping lane-crossing arcade game, and the ninth game built on the ZOQSY Engine. Hop forward one lane at a time across an endless procession of safe sidewalks, busy roads, and rivers. Roads have cars moving at different speeds in both directions — get hit and the run ends. Rivers have no safe ground at all — you have to hop onto a log and ride it, and drifting off a log into the water ends the run just the same. There's no timer forcing you forward, so take your time reading each lane. Your best score — how many lanes you crossed — is saved on this device.
How to Play
Hop one grid lane at a time with the Arrow Keys, WASD, or a swipe on a touch device — forward to make progress, back or sideways to reposition. There's no timer, so you can stop and wait as long as you like on any safe lane. Road lanes have cars driving at different speeds in both directions — stepping into one, or having one drive into you while you're standing still, ends the run. River lanes have no safe ground; you need to land on a log and ride it, and it carries you along with its current while you're on it — drift off the edge of a log (or off the edge of the screen) and you're swept away, which also ends the run. Press Escape or P (or the pause button in the top-right corner) to pause mid-run. Your best score — the furthest lane you've reached — is saved automatically on this device.

Gameplay Tips
- Watch a lane's traffic or current for a moment before committing — there's no penalty for waiting on a safe lane, so use that time to time your hop.
- On a river, plan your next hop before you run out of log — drifting is continuous, so a log that's safe now may carry you toward the edge if you wait too long.
- Faster lanes tend to show up more often the further you get — react to what's actually on the lane in front of you rather than assuming the last few lanes set the pace.
