About the Game
Neon Coil is a clean, fast take on the classic grid-snake game. Steer a glowing coil around an 18x18 board, eat the gold dot to grow, and grab pink bonus gems before they fade. Every five dots the speed steps up and a new barrier appears on the board, so the arena changes as you grow. One wrong turn into a wall, a barrier or your own tail ends the run.
How to Play
Steer with the Arrow keys or WASD, or swipe / use the on-screen D-pad on touch devices — you can't reverse straight back into yourself, and two quick turns in a row are both remembered. Eat the gold dot to grow and score 10 points; every seventh dot a pink bonus gem appears for a few seconds and is worth 50. Every five dots the speed tier goes up and a two-block barrier appears somewhere safely away from your head. The run ends the moment your head hits the edge, a barrier or your own tail. Your high score is saved on this device.

Gameplay Tips
- Plan two or three moves ahead, not just the next one — a coil this long can trap itself in a dead end fast.
- Hugging the outer wall is safer early on, but leaves less room to maneuver once you've grown — start pulling toward open space before the board feels crowded.
- The game speeds up with every dot eaten — if you're struggling to react, it's fine to take a slightly longer path to the next dot instead of the shortest one.
