Neon Coil

About the Game

Neon Coil is a clean, fast take on the classic grid-snake game. Steer a glowing coil around an 18x18 board, eat the pulsing dot to grow and score, and keep going as the board fills up and the pace quickens. One wrong turn into the wall or your own tail ends the run.

How to Play

Steer with the Arrow keys or WASD (or the on-screen D-pad on touch devices) to move your coil one grid cell at a time in the direction you choose — you can't reverse straight back into yourself. Eat the glowing dot to grow a segment longer and score points; the game speeds up slightly with every dot eaten. The run ends the moment your head hits a wall or any part of your own tail. Your high score is saved on this device.

Gameplay Tips

• •Plan two or three moves ahead, not just the next one — a coil this long can trap itself in a dead end fast.
• •Hugging the outer wall is safer early on, but leaves less room to maneuver once you've grown — start pulling toward open space before the board feels crowded.
• •The game speeds up with every dot eaten — if you're struggling to react, it's fine to take a slightly longer path to the next dot instead of the shortest one.
