Drop. Align. Build high.
Drop blocks from a moving crane and keep the tower balanced — 50 handcrafted stacking stages.
Tower Stack is an original stacking game with 50 handcrafted stages. A crane carries each block back and forth — or swings it on a cable — and you tap to drop it onto the tower. Line it up dead centre for a Perfect, chain Perfects into a combo, and keep the whole tower balanced: the game checks the centre of mass at every joint, so a heavy steel block landing on an overhang will pull the stack over. Each chapter adds a new challenge. Foundations covers slabs, beams, pillars and faster cranes; Weight & Balance brings three-tonne steel, light foam and the swinging crane; Wind & Motion adds gusting wind that pushes falling blocks and a base that slides back and forth; Special Blocks introduces glass that cracks under heavy or off-centre loads, slippery ice, glue that locks a joint in place and magnetic anchors that snap near misses straight; and Skyline ends with expert towers and the 30-block Grand Tower. Every stage is completed during development by a bot that tries every possible drop timing on the game's own physics, which also proves a fair timing window for every block.
The block on the crane moves on its own; tap anywhere, or press Space or Enter, to drop it. It falls straight down — wind, shown by the arrow in the corner, can push it sideways on the way — and lands on the top of the tower if it overlaps it. Landing within a hair of the centre is a Perfect: the block snaps straight and your combo grows, up to ×5. A block that misses the tower falls away and uses up one of your spare blocks. After every landing the tower must balance: at each joint, the weight above has to sit over the part it rests on, otherwise the tower topples and the stage is lost. Heavy steel moves the balance point a lot, light foam hardly at all. Glass cracks if the load on it is too heavy or off-centre, blocks landing on ice skid further from where they hit, a block landing on green glue is fixed in place even if it overhangs, and magnetic anchors snap a near miss straight. Finish the sequence to complete the stage; Perfects, combos, spare blocks and height all add to your score, and higher scores earn up to three stars.
What is Tower Stack?
Tower Stack is a free stacking game on ZOQSY. You drop blocks from a moving crane onto a tower, landing them as close to the centre as you can, and keep the tower balanced until every block is placed.
How many stages are there?
50 handcrafted stages in five chapters, ending with the Grand Tower — 30 blocks with wind, a swinging crane, a moving base and every special block.
Why did my tower fall over?
At every joint, the weight of everything above has to rest over the block below. A big overhang — especially with heavy steel on top — pushes the balance point past the edge and the tower topples.
What do the special blocks do?
Glass cracks under heavy or off-centre loads, ice makes landings skid further, glue locks a joint so an overhang can't slide off, and magnetic anchors snap a near miss straight.
How do I get three stars?
Score at least 70% of the stage's maximum. Perfect drops and long combos are worth the most, and every spare block you keep adds a bonus.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes — tap anywhere to drop. It also plays with a mouse or the keyboard.
Is Tower Stack free?
Yes — free in your browser with no download or account. Stars and best scores are saved locally in your browser.
