Can you get everyone safely across?
Get everyone safely across the river in 50 handcrafted river crossing logic puzzles.
River Logic is an original river crossing puzzle game. Each level gives you a riverbank full of farmers, animals and cargo, a small boat and a few rules — the fox can't be left with the chicken, the canoe only carries 80 kg, only the captain may row. Load the boat, cross, and plan every trip so that nobody is ever left with someone they shouldn't be. The 50 levels are grouped into six worlds — First Crossings, Capacity, Relationships, Special Rules, Advanced and Expert — that add seat and weight limits, rowers, guards and thieves, night crossings with a lantern, a torch-lit bridge against the clock, one-way ziplines, strong currents, islands, three banks and two boats, ending in three boss puzzles. Every level is checked by a solver, so each one is solvable and its best number of crossings is known.
Tap the characters you want to send across: they climb into the boat (tap them again to climb out). Then press Cross. The boat needs someone who can row — rowers carry a small oar badge — and it has a limited number of seats, and sometimes a weight limit shown on each character. When the boat arrives, its passengers step ashore and the game checks every bank: if anyone has been left with someone they shouldn't be — the fox with the chicken, thieves outnumbering guards — the level shows what went wrong, and you can undo that crossing or reset. Get everyone to where they belong to finish the level. Later worlds add rules of their own, all listed on each level's rule card: a lantern that must ride along at night, a limited number of crossings, a bridge where the slowest walker sets the pace against a time limit, a one-way zipline, a current that takes two rowers to fight, a safe pen on an island, and levels with islands, three banks or two boats. Finish a level in its best number of crossings without hints for three stars. Your progress, stars and best results are saved in this browser.
