Chain the numbers.
Drag number chains that hit the target, set off bomb reactions and beat the clock — 50 arcade maths levels.
Number Blast is an original arcade maths game with 50 handcrafted levels. A neon grid is packed with number tiles and operator tiles; drag a path through neighbouring tiles — a number, a sign, a number — that makes the target, and release to blast it. Blasted tiles explode in light, the tiles above fall into place and new ones drop in. Bomb tiles used in an equation explode their neighbours, and any bomb caught in the blast goes off too, so one good equation can set off a whole chain reaction; stone blocks crack when something next to them blasts. Most levels run against the clock, and a wrong answer costs three seconds. Five chapters cover adding and subtracting, the times tables and division, number sequences and rule targets such as "any even number" or "a multiple of 6", fractions and percentages like "25% of 8", and finally primes and five-tile chains. All arithmetic is exact — fractions are worked out as fractions, never rounded — and every level is played through by a bot during development to check that it can be completed.
The target is shown at the top. Press on a number tile and drag through neighbouring tiles — up, down, sideways or diagonally — alternating number, sign, number. The running total appears above the board as you drag; release when it matches the target and the tiles blast. Equations are worked out from left to right, so 2 + 3 × 4 is 20. On long-chain levels you can drag five tiles: number, sign, number, sign, number. Some targets are rules instead of numbers: any even or odd number, any prime, any square number, a multiple of a number, or anything above or below a value. Glowing bomb tiles explode the tiles around them when you use them in an equation, and a bomb caught in an explosion goes off too. Stone blocks can't be used, but they crack when a tile next to them blasts. On timed levels a wrong answer costs three seconds. If no equation on the board can make the target, the board remixes itself for free. Clear every target to finish; faster runs with bigger chains score more and earn up to three stars.
What is Number Blast?
Number Blast is a free arcade maths game on ZOQSY. You drag paths through number and operator tiles to make target numbers, setting off explosions and chain reactions.
How many levels are there?
50 handcrafted levels in five chapters, from simple sums to fractions, percentages, primes and a final twelve-target chain.
In what order are equations worked out?
Left to right, in the order you drag the tiles. 2 + 3 × 4 makes 20.
What happens if no equation works?
The board remixes itself for free whenever no equation on it can make the current target, so you can never get stuck.
How do I get three stars?
Clear every target quickly, use bombs for chain reactions and avoid wrong answers — three stars need a score close to the best possible run.
Is it suitable for practising maths?
Yes — it covers mental addition, times tables, division, fractions and percentages, all checked exactly, in a fast arcade format.
Is Number Blast free?
Yes — free in your browser with no download or account. Stars and best results are saved locally in your browser.
