Pull. Push. Escape.
Pulse magnets to pull and push a steel ball through 50 handcrafted magnetic mazes.
Magnet Maze is an original magnetic logic puzzle with 50 handcrafted levels. A polarized steel ball sits in a maze ringed with red north and blue south magnets. Tap a magnet to pulse it: its field runs along its row and column, straight through stone walls, and grabs the first piece of steel it meets. Opposite poles pull the ball toward the magnet, like poles push it away, and the ball slides until something stops it. Your goal is to slide it across the swirling exit vortex. Five chapters build on that one rule: Field School teaches pulling, pushing and flip pads; Lanes & Shuttles adds one-way lanes and shuttles that step along their tracks with every move; Circuits & Hazards brings pressure plates, steel doors, crates, pits and electrified floor; Polarity Lab mixes force gates, flip pads and energy cores you must collect before the vortex opens; and Magnetar ends with expert boards and a 29-move final. Every level's par is the proven minimum number of moves, found by an exhaustive search of the game's own rules.
Each board has one steel ball, shown with its pole, and magnets set into the walls: red magnets are north, blue magnets are south. Tap a magnet to pulse it. The pulse travels along the magnet's row and column — through stone walls — and acts on the first piece of steel in each direction. If the ball's pole is opposite the magnet's, it is pulled toward the magnet; if the poles match, it is pushed away. Either way it slides until the next cell is blocked, so pillars, crates and walls decide where it stops. Slide the ball across the green vortex to escape. Hover over a magnet (or select it with the arrow keys) to see an arrow showing what a pulse will move. Along the way you'll meet flip pads that swap the ball's pole mid-slide, force gates that only let one pole through, steel crates that are always pulled and that shield the ball from a field, pressure plates that open steel doors, pits that crates can fill, electrified floor, shuttles that step once per move, and energy cores that must be collected before the vortex opens. Matching the level's par earns three stars.
What is Magnet Maze?
Magnet Maze is a free logic puzzle game on ZOQSY. You pulse north and south magnets to pull and push a polarized steel ball through a maze until it slides into the exit vortex.
How many levels are there?
50 handcrafted levels in five chapters, from a one-move tutorial to the 29-move final level, Magnetar.
How do the magnets work?
A pulsed magnet acts along its row and column on the first piece of steel it reaches. Opposite poles pull the ball, matching poles push it, and steel crates are always pulled.
How do I get three stars?
Escape in the level's par — the fewest moves possible, which the game's verifier proves for every level. Finishing within a few extra moves earns two stars.
Can I undo a move?
Yes. Undo steps back one magnet pulse at a time, and Restart resets the whole level. A few later levels also have a move limit.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. Tap a magnet to pulse it — it works on phones and tablets, and with a mouse or keyboard on desktop.
Is Magnet Maze free?
Yes — it's free to play in your browser with no download or account. Your stars and best results are saved locally in your browser.
