About the Game

Goal Rush is an original soccer shooting game with 50 challenges in five chapters. Each challenge gives you a handful of shots from set spots on the pitch and a number of goals to score. Drag back and release to strike: the pull sets your aim and power. Add curve to bend the ball around defenders and walls, or chip it with a lifted shot that dips under the bar. Keepers start out standing still, then patrol their line, react faster, narrow the angle and finally read the bend of your shot. Free-kick walls jump, defenders slide across the box, rebound boards set up bank shots, and glowing target zones in the net move from side to side. Goals through targets, into the top corners, with bend or with a chip score bonus points, and goals in a row build a combo multiplier. Every challenge has been checked by a shot search on the game's own physics, which proves the goals you need can be scored with real margin for error.

How to Play

Press anywhere on the pitch, drag back and let go to shoot — like a slingshot. Pulling down and to the left sends the ball up and to the right; a longer pull means more power. Hard, driven shots rise as they travel, so from long range too much power sends the ball over the bar. Use the curve buttons (or A and D) to bend the shot left or right — the dotted guide shows how it starts to bend — and the Lift button (or L) for a chipped shot that climbs over a wall and drops under the bar. On a keyboard, aim with the left and right arrows, set power with up and down, and press Space to shoot. Each challenge shows how many goals you need from how many shots; score them all to finish, and earn up to three stars with bonus points for target zones, top corners, bend, chips and combos of goals in a row.

Gameplay Tips

• •From close range a driven shot to the corner beats most keepers; from far out, ease off the power.
• •Keepers who predict a straight line dive the wrong way against a shot that starts wide and bends in.
• •Against a patrolling keeper, shoot to the side they are walking away from.
• •Chips are slow — use them to clear a wall, not to beat a quick keeper from close in.
• •Goals in a row multiply your points, so a safe goal can be worth more than a risky top corner.
