Color. Aim. Conquer.
Fire energy orbs into a neon grid and turn the crimson territory blue across 50 handcrafted levels.
Chroma Clash is an original color-territory arcade game with 50 handcrafted levels. Your cannon fires glowing energy orbs into a grid arena held by crimson: every crimson cell an orb strikes turns blue, and the orb bounces off it and keeps going until its charge runs out. Slip an orb through a gap and it ricochets behind the enemy line, capturing again and again — each capture in one shot raises your multiplier, up to x5 and, in later arenas, x10. The 50 levels are grouped into five sets of ten — Ignition, Combo Core, Prism Works, Crimson Front and Chroma Apex — and introduce new ideas as you go: chain cells, gold multiplier cells and crystals, armored and shielded cells, steel walls, ice, energy pickups, drifting cores, rotating bars, moving lanes, enemy turrets that shoot back, regrowing territory and shield generators. Nine kinds of orb unlock along the way — fast, heavy, split, piercing, ricochet, pulse, chain and wildcard on top of the standard energy orb — and the final level is a three-phase boss fight against the Crimson Monolith, whose prism shield only breaks under a combo. Objectives change from level to level (capture cells, own a share of the arena, reach a multiplier, destroy cores or turrets, hit marked targets, beat a clock), every level is earned with up to three stars, and every level has been verified solvable by a solver that plays the real game rules.
Drag anywhere on the arena (or move your mouse) to aim the cannon at the bottom of the screen — a dotted line shows where the orb will travel and what it will hit first — then release or click to fire. On a keyboard, aim with the arrow keys or A and D (hold Shift for fine aim) and fire with Space. An orb flies freely through blue and empty space; when it strikes a crimson cell, that cell turns blue and the orb bounces off it, spending one charge. Orbs also bounce off the arena edges and steel walls for free, and an orb that falls back to your base is finished. Every capture in a single shot raises your multiplier (x2, x3, x4, x5…), and each capture is worth 10 points times the multiplier, so the best shots slip through a gap and ricochet behind the crimson line. Each level shows its objective before you start and in the HUD while you play — capture a number of cells, own a share of the arena, reach a multiplier, destroy cores or turrets, capture every marked target or beat a time limit — and gives you a fixed queue of orbs. Win with orbs or time to spare for bonus points and up to three stars. Later levels add armored cells (two hits, or one heavy orb), shields that flicker on and off, ice, energy pickups that recharge your orb, moving cores and lanes, rotating bars, and turrets whose shots steal your cells and can damage your base. Your unlocked levels, stars, best scores and best multipliers are saved in this browser.
