About the Game
ZOQSY Brick Blast is a neon brick breaker with 100 levels in ten chapters: Neon Warm-Up, Double Trouble, Geometry, Steel City, Chain Reaction, Target Practice, Fortress, Pixel Invaders, Labyrinth and the Grand Finale. Move the paddle with the mouse, your finger or the arrow keys and keep the ball in play. Cyan bricks break in one hit, violet in two and pink in three; grey steel never breaks and turns levels into mazes; orange explosive bricks take out their neighbours; and on target levels you only have to break the gold bricks. Broken bricks sometimes drop power-up capsules — green capsule bricks always do: Multiball, Wide Paddle, Laser, Fireball, Slow Ball, Shield, Extra Life, Score Bonus and Magnet. Breaking bricks in a row without touching the paddle builds a combo up to ×4, and clearing a level pays a bonus for every life you have left. Each level starts with three lives (up to five with extra lives); lose them all and you can try the level again. Clearing a level unlocks the next, and your best score on every level is saved in your browser. Every level was played to the end by an autopilot before release.
How to Play
Move the paddle with the mouse, by dragging on a touch screen, or with the arrow keys, and click, tap or press Space to launch the ball. The ball bounces off the walls and the paddle — where it lands on the paddle sets its angle, so hit it with the edge to send it sideways. Cyan bricks take one hit, violet two and pink three. Grey steel bricks never break. Orange explosive bricks destroy the eight bricks around them, and gold target bricks are the goal on target levels. Catch falling capsules with the paddle: Multiball (M) adds two balls, Wide Paddle (W) widens the paddle, Laser (L) fires bolts, Fireball (F) burns straight through bricks, Slow Ball (S) slows the ball, Shield (D) saves one ball at the bottom, Extra Life (+) adds a life, Score Bonus ($) adds 250 points and Magnet (G) catches the ball so you can aim it. Timed power-ups end when their time runs out or when you lose a life. Clear every breakable brick — or every gold target — to finish the level.

Gameplay Tips
- Hit the ball with the paddle's edge to angle it into gaps between steel bricks.
- Explosive bricks clear their neighbours — aim for them first.
- Catch the green capsule bricks' drops: they always contain a power-up.
- Keep the combo going: bricks broken in a row without touching the paddle score up to ×4.
- Every life left at the end of a level adds 200 bonus points.

How many levels are there?
